This privacy policy governs your use of the software application BinWatch (“Application”) for mobile devices that was created by Richard Ferris. The Application is a utility that allows users to locate and report the status of waste and dog poo bins in their area.

The Application does not require users to provide any personal information and does not require users to log in. No personal data is collected or required to use the Application.

In addition, the Application may collect certain information automatically, application generated unique device ID (randomly generated UUID), but this information is only used to show you which updates you have made.
Does the Application collect precise real time location information of the device?
The Application uses your location information to allow you to find bins in your local area. However, this information is not stored or shared. The Application uses your location only while the Application is in use to identify bins near your current location.
Do third parties see and/or have access to information obtained by the Application?
No. We do not share information with third parties.
What are my opt-out rights?
You can stop all collection of information by the Application easily by uninstalling the Application. You may use the standard uninstall processes as may be available as part of your mobile device or via the mobile application marketplace or network.
